To find God dig deep into your mind; to find Brahman give up your mind and await the truth to descend automatically to then slowly realise what is really there.
The mind is God, and God is mind. The deeper one goes into ones mind the most ideal form of God is visualised. Just as everyone has a different mind they therefore have a different God, such as Jesus, Krishna, Allah, Jehvah, Saraswati, Lakshmi and so on. The God are real to the people who wish to surrender to their God. Everyone's God is ideal for them. I called my God at the height of my material struggles as Sri Krishna, and later Sri Krishna-Durga because these names amounted to '7' according to the Hewbrew Chaldean Numerology that I was studying. But my God then Sri Krishna was not an ideal God, He did not answer a lot of my questions through the digital clock checking mechanism that I was using to communicate with him believing Him to be assisting me in my struggle to save my reputation in fighting a dharmayudha against those who were persecuting me. Reliance on Sri Krishna led me to be sectioned into the mental hospital on two occasions. the first in 2004 and the second in 2008, which depressed me. What kind of God would do that to someone who had surrender. He then stopped responding and would not give me concrete proof that a scientist needs to ensure that he is dealing with a genuine Entity. So I decided to go it alone from 2015 and find my own way in life as a satya-advaitic yogi seeking for the truth on Reality.
Other people's God are their own business in that if it floats their boat they will continue to rely on their mind as this is the only source of a Personal God that that is accessible. So I concluded God is Mind and Mind is God.
Now if one wishes to be free of God like I was with mine, one has to lose one's mind for this is God, You lose your mind and see what happens. You go spontaneously, nonchalantly, and unpremeditatedly into the future. With the loss of mind you no longer have attachments, such as plans, objectives, missions, anticipations, expectations, wishes, hopes, desires and ego. You experiment with this approach to see that truth still comes to you. This truth at the end of my exploration descends on you from Brahman when you are at the Self mode of operation and you then find that your actions are perfect in aiding survival in dignity of liberty and with relative prosperity and a good name for those who wish to read your works.
So what is this Brahman: It is indescribable. Right now I cannot find any words in English language or any other language for it, so this word has to be continued with. Being the source of truth for those in the Self mode of operation, Brahman is something between Truth and Reality.
So yes God and Brahman are not the same. You can get rid of God by getting rid of your mind, but you can not get rid of Brahman even if you wanted to if you wish to live. You are then Brahman, truth and Reality so everyting you say or write is the truth.
